Crystals and Gems that Enhance Overall Love and Attract Relationships into Your Life
Ruby
Rubies were once known to ancient Hindus as ratnarajor the “King of Precious Stones,” and for good reason. The rich, deep red of Rubies instantly reminds one of love, power, and passion. This stone was believed to contain the bloodline of humanity and was used as an amulet to drive off death and disease. From the Latin word rubeus, meaning red, you can use this stone to empower the Base Chakra and increase vitality or chi. Using it can make a person feel happy to exist in the physical world, and it’s also used to attract love—particularly faithful and passionate commitments. Wearing it gives the bearer freedom from destructive emotional holds and bestows empowerment to those who think they’re inadequate.
Moonstone
The Moonstone has always been a significant stone for lovers and is a traditional wedding gift in some cultures. Moonstones hold the power of luna—the moon—and has been associated with women and fertility cycles. It is said that wearing a Moonstone during lovemaking on a night of a full moon will harmonize the body with the natural lunar cycle. It’s also recommended to place 12 Moonstones around a room and one Moonstone under the bed for fidelity and fertility. On the one hand, it is a great stone for self-care. Introspection through this stone unearths deep, forgotten memories that have been feared to be missing. On the other hand, this stone has been known to assist people in love. It’s known to help people with their first relationship, provide comfort to lovers who need to keep their love secret, and reunite old lovers.
Pink Sapphire
Pink Sapphires are just as powerful as the legendary Blue Sapphires. These crystals are known to bring resilience and strength in challenging times. They also assist the bearer through transitions of life from falling in love to letting go. Wearing Pink Sapphire amulets or jewelry will help protect the bearer from emotional or psychic situations that they have no control over (such as accidents, natural disorders, etc.). Pink Sapphires help focus the mind, ease tension, dispel negative thoughts, and help overcome depressive tendencies. They’re stones that help strengthen the heart to find love, let go of bad romantic encounters, and forgive the self and others for the past. If you’re currently in a relationship, Pink Sapphires also bring joyful, playful, and loving energies into the relationship.
Pink Topaz
Pink Topazes are considered to be the love-finder stones. Their innate Light and Fire energies help the bearer to attract the person meant for them. For people in relationships, this is also one of the best stones to wear or incorporate into your daily meditation routine if you’re having trouble communicating or understanding your partner. This stone helps connect thoughts and people through socialization and good communication. Pink Topazes are also worn to protect the bearer against evil and provide Divine protection from ill-wishers. The Ancient Romans used this stone to protect themselves from demons by hiding their own energies. This is also the perfect stone for creators, craftsmen, and people who are in the creative field.
Pink Opal
Pink Opals are considered by many to be the “Stone of Hope.” This is among the best crystals and stones for love attraction. Using this stone heals the bearer of deep, subconscious, and emotional pain that holds them back from reaching their full potential. Opals in pinkish hues are actually quite rare, which means that if you manage to find one, don’t let it go! That’s because it’s one of the most powerful Heart Chakra stones along with Rose Quartz, Emerald, and Rhodochrosite. Pink Opals give a lot of spiritual and emotional benefits to its bearer. On the one hand, it helps one deal with powerful, negative emotions and emotional states like excessive fear and anxiety. On the other, it balances one’s aura and restores the flow of energy to your heart and soul, purifying your feelings. It’s also a stone that helps foster self-love by making a person more compassionate toward himself or herself.
Rhodochrosite
As I’ve mentioned, this is one of the most powerful Heart Chakra stones out there. Rhodochrosite comes in a deep, raspberry- to rose-red color and emits one of the most loving energies that you can receive from a crystal. This stone is also known as the Stone of the Compassionate Heart since it evokes selfless love that is beyond empathy, all the while helping the bearer heal himself or herself before others. Rhodochrosite teaches a person that he/she is worthy of love, health, and happiness. It harmonizes all aspects of a person’s personality so he/she could learn to love himself/herself. This stone also helps the bearer express his/her feelings better, and enhances passion and sexuality into his/her love life.
Lemon Quartz
Lemon Quartz is a really happy stone, aside from it being a stone to help you with love. It’s generally a calmer yellow than Citrine Quartz, but just like Citrine Quartz, it doesn’t need to be cleansed because it’s a self-cleansing crystal. Lemon Quartz is specifically a crystal for the Solar Plexus Chakra, the chakra that controls one’s thoughts. If you incorporate Lemon Quartz into your daily meditation routine or wear it as jewelry, you’ll be sure to feel significantly lighter and hopeful. Lemon Quartz is also known to enhance your mental powers and to give you a clear mind, especially in difficult situations. It is said to purify the bearer’s energy and aura. As for love, it’s a stone that ushers in your ideal partner and true love—the kind of love that is warm, good, and comforting. It’s also an ideal stone for relationships that needs stability or energy to keep it going.
Amethyst
Ancients considered the Amethyst to be the Gem of Fire and valued it next to Diamonds. The name Amethyst derives from the Greek word emetusthos which means “not intoxicated.” In Roman mythology, Amethyst was a maiden and devotee of Diana, the Roman God of Wisdom. Bacchus, the God of Wine, was insulted by her words and threatened to harm her, so Diana turned her into stone to protect her. Seeing such a young life wasted, Bacchus sadly repents and pours wine over the stone—and that’s how the Romans explained the brilliant purple color of the Amethyst. Wine goblets of old were encrusted with Amethysts because it is believed that one could not get drunk because of the Amethyst’s properties. This stone inhibits evil thoughts, prevents overindulgence and drunkenness, and fortifies and stimulates the mind. It is believed to be the Stone of Faithful Love—the love that transcends carnal union and embraces soulful communion of two souls—as St. Valentine was said to wear an Amethyst ring. This is a perfect stone for engagement rings to symbolize and encourage fidelity. Some people also wear Amethysts as lockets to call back their lost love.
Pearl
The Pearl might not be a true mineral because of its organic origins, but it is a popular gem that’s widely found and used in jewelry. It’s a versatile gem that reminds one of purity, enlightenment, and tranquility. This gem is known to be ruled by the moon and by the water element, thus people have used it to balance the body’s natural rhythms and hormone levels with the lunar cycle. This gem is known to strengthen and nurture pure love by strengthening sincerity, truth, and loyalty in a relationship.
Kunzite
Kunzite is named after mineralogist and jeweler George Kunz who discovered the crystal in 1902. This crystal is known to be the Stone of Emotion because it forms a communion between the heart and the mind. Through this stone, protective walls around the heart are destroyed, which makes the bearer more receptive to unconditional and abundant love. Kunzite occurs naturally in pale pink to light violet hues and has a unique glassy transparency. This stone fades in direct sunlight, so you should be careful with the cleansing method you choose.
Pink Kunzite is considered to be a woman’s stone which helps her overcome heartbreak, loss, the trauma of sexual bullying, and the challenges that surround pregnancy. This stone can also be used to heal people who have closed themselves emotionally from the world as it restores trust and innocence and gives the bearer the freedom to express their feelings.
Pink Tourmaline
Pink tourmaline is one that I like to call as a love searcher” stone because it brings all kinds of love into your life. But it doesn’t stop there. It also prepares you for meeting your soulmate, as well. And when you do meet that soulmate and decide to become intimate with him/her, this stone also works as an aphrodisiac to help keep things going on in the bedroom.
Pink Tourmaline is a primary Heart Chakra stone that links directly to the Crown Chakra, which means it has the ability to meld love and spirituality together. Sapphire is the stone of wisdom, royalty, prophecy, and Divine Favor. It’s perhaps the most sacred of stones as it symbolizes power, strength, kindness and wise judgment. It is believed to be worn by King Solomon and Abraham. The Greeks even wore it to invoke wisdom whenever they’d seek answers at the Temple of the Oracle of Apollo at Delphi. Like orange-colored stones, Orange Sapphires activates the Sacral Chakra—the chakra that is responsible for sexuality and creativity. It helps those who are unable to feel joy and sensuality to enjoy sex for themselves. Orange sapphires are also believed to help the bearer overcome negative sexual experiences from their past, giving them the ability to move on and enjoy future sexual encounters.
Garnet
Garnet is perhaps one of the most potent crystals that induce passion and desire. It’s a supercharged and powerful sex stone, basically, which is why it’s called the Stone of Physical Love and Relationship between loving partners. It increases the attraction between two people and makes them feel powerful and desirable.
This stone works by cleansing all chakras and stimulating kundalini to aid in sexual potency. To enjoy the effects of this stone, wear or place this stone near the genitals before sex to increase sex drive. You could also wear it as jewelry to attract a potential partner. It’s not only one of the best crystals for love and romance, but I also think that this is one of my top two stones for boosting satisfaction in the bedroom.
Carnelian
Carnelian is a powerful stone that recharges the Sacral Chakra. It enhances sexuality and restores vitality especially in the female sex organs. This stone is not just a pretty orange rock—it empowers and motivates its bearer to do great and novel things. Carnelian helps timid speakers be bold; it gave courage and power to ancient warriors. This stone is also used to evoke love, passion, and desire.
Carnelian was traditionally used not only to attract love but also to consummate and ensure that the union would bear children. It is said that orange Carnelians work best with women, while red-orange to reddish-brown Carnelians work best with men.
Red Jasper
Red Jasper definitely screams powerful male energy, but it works just as well with women. Regardless, Red Jasper invigorates one’s libido and prolongs the sexual excitement felt between a couple. This stone is known as the Stone of Vibrancy and Endurance and has been used by warriors as a talisman to enforce justice and give protection and life.
This stone activates the Base Chakra and stimulates kundalini energy to cleanse the bearer’s aura. This stone is also known to promote sexual compatibility for couples and is used to enhance tantric sex.
Smoky Quartz
Ancient druids have elevated the Smoky Quartz to be a symbol of the potent, dark power of earth gods and goddesses. They considered this stone to guide souls to the afterlife and was thus used in many magical ceremonies and rituals. But Smoky Quartz isn’t all that dark as the Ancient druids made it out to be. For me, this might actually be the best stabilizing crystal that can help out with a couple’s bedroom situation. It’s one of the best crystals to increase virility and endurance in men and is known to be the Stone of Power. It filters out negative energy and attunes itself to Light energy, influencing the bearer to drop hostility, anger, and obsession with past sexual hang-ups. It’s a crystal that cleanses the sexual centers to aid the flow of energy through the chakras and relieves stress, tension, and absorbs misfortune.
Bonus: How to Do a Crystal Massage Ritual with Your Partner
If you’re thinking of using these crystals in your regular meditation routine, allow me to make a more sensual suggestion. We all know that massages are a great and fun way to spice up things in the bedroom. But massages and sex can get better, especially if you use crystals that are known to boost passion, intimacy, and you and your partner’s libidos.
To get started, you’ll need one tumbled stone each of Rose Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Red Jasper, and Carnelian. Then, you’ll have to lay on your back comfortably. Once you’re in a comfortable position, massage the area above the heart and place a Rose Quartz stone in that area to open yourself to receiving love. Then, massage the area around the pubic bone and place a Red Jasper stone to stimulate your libido and to energize your Root and Sacral Chakras. Lastly, massage the area below the navel and place an Orange Carnelian to recharge your sexual energy. Lay in this position for 10-15 minutes to let the stones do their work on you. After that, you may enjoy the revitalizing effects of these crystals with your partner.
What Crystals Help Heal a Broken Heart?
Rose Quartz
We know that the Rose Quartz is a very helpful stone for self-love because it calms the mind and spirit and relieves one of anxiety and worries. So, it makes sense that it can also be used to help heal broken hearts. As you might have known, Rose Quartz has this unbelievable amount of motherly energy in it. Using this crystal in meditation or in crystal grids feels like being comforted by a warm, loving mother. This crystal heals broken hearts because it’s chock-full of comforting and soothing energy that gives the bearer calm and peace. Not only that, but the bearer is given a chance to weigh things in, work things through, and balance their emotions, especially after a painful event. Rose Quartz also lowers stress levels and the pain associated with heartbreak. For as long as you’re trying to heal, keep the calming Rose Quartz near you, either as a worry stone or as a piece of jewelry.
Malachite
Malachite is a huge help to those who are undergoing changes and transformations of the heart. Transitions, breakups, and moving away from loved ones are some painful things that a person has to endure at least once in their life. The Malachite stone helps wash away hurtful memories, clears painful heartache, and slowly but surely prepares you for all the types of love that you deserve and will come your way.
Throughout history, the Malachite was used as a protective stone that absorbs negative energy and protects against pollution of all sorts. As you wear this as a pendant or sleep with it close to you, you’ll start to feel lighter. Malachite helps people deal with depression and anxiety and is a stone that’s really dedicated to the overall health of the Heart Chakra, which makes it ideal for healing a broken heart.
Apache Tear
Of all the stones, the Apache Tear is probably the most haunting yet comforting stone you could find, partly because of the lore surrounding it. Legends say that the Apache Tear came about when the Apache Indians of the southwestern United States tried to protect their land and their way of life from the colonizers. All of the Apache men were slaughtered, while the Apache women and children could do nothing but watch. They grieved over their dead so bitterly that they cried rivers of tears that turned into stone.
With the legend of the Apache Tear in mind, you’d know that this stone knows grief and pain. It is one of the strongest tools to help with emotional healing because it absorbs sadness within the heart. It also protects the wearer from psychic attacks, negative energy, and strong, negative emotions. It is said that whoever holds an Apache Tear will never grieve again—giving hope for all of us who carry some sort of sadness in our hearts.
Rhodonite
The Rhodonite’s healing powers are very similar to Rhodochrosite since both stones expose emotional scars and wounds that need healing. Many agree that this is one of the best stones to heal the heart of emotional trauma. Rhodonite also works as a first aid stone for calming down emotional pain and panic. This stone not only helps the bearer deal with jealousy, angst, or other negative emotions after a heartbreak. It also gives the bearer the strength of forgiveness and to deal with painful issues through peaceful and sincere reconciliation. Some even say that the Rhodonite is a stone that will give you your wakeup call, especially if you’re in a state of denial with your current relationship. The Rhodonite stone also transforms lust and heightened libido into a more passionate and intimate exchange between lovers.
Raw Chrysocolla
The Chrysocolla is another stone that guides people through transitions like breakups. Like Malachite, Chrysocolla neutralizes negative energy. But this stone differs from Malachite because its power comes from its gentleness. Like the other crystals that help a person through a breakup, Chrysocolla calms strong emotions and lets the bearer start to heal. Some might think this stone emits weak energy that’s not good at managing breakups because it’s so calm and gentle, but that isn’t the case. There is great power in its ability to make the bearer forgive, stand in peace, and establish lasting emotional bonds. These things aren’t easy to do, especially if you’ve been hurt bad, but because of the Chrysocolla, you’ll be given the energy and the right headspace to manage pain better.
How to Use Crystals to Attract Love
As I’ve mentioned above, there are several ways to incorporate crystal powers into your life in such a way that it attracts healthy, loving relationships and sex. Almost all of these crystals can be worn as jewelry, and that’s probably the easiest way to incorporate them into your daily life. Just pick a stone or crystal that resonates with you and wear them to the chakra center where you need them most. Done! However, there are other ways to make the most out of your crystals aside from that.
You can place certain stones and crystals around your room or at home to attract love and romance. In Feng Shui, it is believed that the far-right corner of your room is considered to be the relationship area of that room. Place a crystal of your choice there and it will help you bring more positive energy into your love life.
Another sensual way of incorporating crystals into your love life is by taking love baths. It’s pretty simple, really. First, you’ll have to find the perfect gemstone to attract soulmate for you. After choosing the stone (or after the stone chooses you), just place your crystal with your bath salts before you put them in your bath and let its energy infuse the bath salts. You’re sure to feel supercharged and rejuvenated after. Meanwhile, some crystal healers also suggest that placing crystals on your body before sex can enhance your performance. Just take any stone of your choice, whether it be a Red Jasper or a Rose Quartz, and place them near the chakra center where they’ll be most influential (in this case, the Root and Heart Chakras respectively.
But if you’re not looking for sensual ways to incorporate these stones and gems into your love life, you can incorporate them into your spiritual rituals. One way would be to make a love crystal grid. I’ll explain how to do that later, but basically, what you’ll be doing with that is you’re combining the power of sacred symbols and crystals along with your intention. You may also choose to meditate with a love crystal, keeping them near to the heart, the throat, or at the base of your spine, depending on where you need them most. Or, you could use orgonite pyramids with Rose Quartz inside. Basically, orgonite pyramids create energy fields that act as barriers against negative man-made and geophysical influences. In the case of orgonite pyramids with Rose Quartz, these restore positive love energy to the bearer and greatly helps negate negative energies and vibrations. I highly recommend getting one.
The Importance of the Heart Chakra
So, there’s all this talk about all these crystals and gems influencing the Heart Chakra and all, but what does that even mean? How important is the Heart Chakra, really? Let’s start with what we do know. The Heart Chakra is the 4th Chakra in the traditional 7-Chakra system. Its element is known to be air and green is often associated with it, even though a person with higher Heart Chakra energies can emit a pink Heart Chakra color.
Within the Heart Chakra is our ability to love. It lets you feel the love in yourself and in everything around you. Not only that, but it makes you feel that everything around you is beautiful and that there’s something great to be found even in the most unlikely of places. It’s a chakra that establishes your relationship with people and the corporeal world, but it also connects you to the spiritual world. Why is that? It’s the chakra that reconciles your worldly and spiritual desires. By connecting your lower chakras and your higher chakras, it balances out your whole being, basically. So the Heart Chakra is pretty important, especially since it’s our connection to ourselves and what’s out there.
A healthy Heart Chakra makes a person strong enough to handle grief properly. With a healthy Heart Chakra, a person is able to maintain inner peace, practice discernment, and impart compassion to those that need it. It also helps people feel connected to anything and everything, including himself. It’s also the chakra center where we comprehend and accept unconditional love, respect, and forgiveness—for the self and for other people.
How to Know If Your Heart Chakra is Blocked or Overly Active
Having said that, now, we should be able to understand what great catastrophe it is for a person if his/her Heart Chakra is blocked or overly active. Not only will people’s connection to other people falter—their relationship with their inner selves will be harmed as well. Generally speaking, the Heart Chakra is affected by events that have a huge impact on the person. These events will trigger an emotional response—love, anger, bitterness, grief, hate, joy, forgiveness, loyalty, compassion, loneliness, etc. These are defense mechanisms, and it’s completely normal to have them in response to an event. But when they’re not properly processed, these emotions lead to further damage of the Heart Chakra.
There are two ways the Heart Chakra can become injured. The first one is if it is blocked. Death, rejection, abandonment, emotional abuse, and trauma can influence a Heart Chakra blockage or hyperactivity. The Heart Chakra can become blocked if the person becomes overly defensive, closed off, jealous, rely heavily on others for approval, or wants to please everyone at all costs. These qualities can be better described as having “a wall around the heart”. While it’s good to want to protect your feelings, shutting out people and letting yourself be an emotional victim is not good for your mental health, and your Heart Chakra as well.
On the other hand, the Heart Chakra can become damaged if you let it become hyperactive. A person with a hyperactive Heart Chakra lets himself be ruled by his emotions. If people with blocked Heart Chakras close themselves from the world, people with hyperactive chakras do not have boundaries in their platonic and romantic relationship. They become yes-people who neglect their own needs and desires so they could serve other people. They are indiscriminate when letting people into their lives, therefore they will almost always have problems cutting off toxic people. These people will be heavily codependent on their partners or friends.
How to Heal Your Heart Chakra
If you’re suffering from one or more of the symptoms above, it’s alright. As with all people, you deserve to be healed from your traumatic experiences and your injured Heart Chakra so you could move on with your life. One of the many ways to heal your Heart Chakra is through meditation. If you’re meditating with the aim of opening up your Heart Chakra, you’re also basically opening yourself up to compassion and forgiveness, which are important emotions to help start your healing process.
You may start meditating with the intention of healing your Heart Chakra the same way you start your regular meditation practice—sit straight and breathe deeply, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. After that, you should begin to focus your consciousness towards your chest, where the Heart Chakra should be. Imagine a green glow emanating from your chest and spreading throughout your whole body until you feel warm and relaxed. Try to stay in this state for 3-5 minutes.
It’s helpful to have crystals at hand during meditation because they help purify, intensify, and broadcast your intentions to the universe. Crystals that have great meaning to the Heart Chakra (most commonly green and/or pink stones and crystals) also have emotional healing powers that will help guide you as you meditate. Just make sure to choose the stone that resonates with you and your intentions.
After meditation, you can either recite mantras and/or affirmations. The mantra to heal the heart is “yam”. Reciting this over and over will help open your physical and spiritual heart to unconditional love and compassion. As for affirmations, you can repeat positive phrases and sentences to heal the negative programming in your heart. You can start with affirmations like “I am open to love”, “I forgive myself”, or “Love resides in my heart”. Think of words of affirmation that suits your intention perfectly.
If you find it difficult to meditate, or if you’re always on the go, uplifting sounds and music always have their positive impact on our emotional state. I suggest making a playlist of all your favorite upbeat songs and listen to them while you’re working out or when you’re at home doing chores. Music works like magic sometimes and I think everyone has that one song that “saved their lives”. I sincerely hope everyone finds that song for them if it means that it’ll help them heal and move on.
Another way of healing your Heart Chakra is through this process called Inner Child Work. Through this process, you’ll be able to interact with your inner child and work out past traumas, repressed feelings, and fears. We first learn to repress our feelings and traumas as children. If unresolved, these negative emotions manifest into potentially harmful behaviors for us as adults. There are clinics with trained therapists who provide Inner Child Work therapies and if you think this may be the best way to heal your injured Heart Chakra, it’s good to start by looking up an Inner Child Work therapist near you.
How to Build a Love Crystal Grid to Manifest Love into Your Life
While our own individual imperfections contribute to how a relationship will go, love generally tends to feel positive and good. Before building a love crystal grid to manifest love into your life, you should keep in mind that love should plant positive feelings within you. You should also be prepared to actively do your part in meeting other people because the right people don’t always come to you without any effort.
Another thing about building crystal grids is to never build it with the intention of influencing a specific person to like you. That’s not how love grids work. The universe finds ways to send you what you need, even if it’s not necessarily what you want. Meditating with purifying crystals might help purify your intentions if you think you need it.
With the matter of intentions out of the way, you’ll have to prepare a print-out or a cloth of a sacred symbol that resonates with you or your intentions. If you don’t have a particular sacred symbol in mind, the Flower of Life formation or a formation of two interlocking circles will work just fine. After that, write down your intentions on a piece of paper, placing it beneath the sacred symbol. Place crystals of your choice onto the pattern, working your way inward. The last stone you set should be the center stone.
For the stones, the most basic setup uses one medium or large Rose Quartz for attracting loving relationships and elevating intentions. You’ll also need 12 Clear Quartz crystal points for amplifying and manifesting your intentions,as well as 6 rose quartz tumbled stones. The stones you’ll use should depend on your intention and what you’re comfortable with (hopefully the guide above helped you in your search for the right crystals for you). After you’ve successfully placed all the crystals in the pattern of your choice, you have to keep the grid up for one moon cycle which is about 40 days. After using the crystals, make sure to cleanse them and deprogram them before using them for another intention.
